A well-cast brass-plated vanity piece in the Victorian Baroque Revival manner. The border is fully pierced and reticulated in dense acanthus scroll work with interspersed foliate rosettes. Two figural drop handles bracket the short ends, each with an expressive cast face at the center. A rectangular mirror insert sits within the inner frame. The casting detail throughout is strong and the piece photographs beautifully.
Works as a vanity display for perfume bottles and jewelry, a bedside tray, or a bar cart accent. The figural handles set it apart from the standard brass tray.
