Originally designed by Miroslav Havel in 1956, the pattern is defined by its deep, all-over diamond lattice grid (known as caro cutting) that catches and breaks light across the entire flared silhouette.

The vase is anchored by a precisely cut 16-point starburst base, while the top finishes in a finely scalloped, serrated rim. Because the diamond cuts run the full length of the body rather than transitioning into vertical wedges, it maintains a highly textured, sculptural presence. It has a striking, architectural weight that stands grounding on a console or mantel, whether styled completely empty or holding a structured floral arrangement.
