An elegant Spanish Colonial Revival server cabinet by Berkey & Gay of Grand Rapids, one of America’s premier American furniture makers of the early twentieth century.
Executed in richly figured walnut veneers, the piece showcases many of the hallmarks of the Spanish Revival movement, including turned legs, fluted corner pilasters, decorative brass hardware, and a scalloped apron. The result is a piece that feels simultaneously architectural, warm, and timeless.
The generously sized drawer offers substantial concealed storage while the open lower stretcher shelf provides additional space for books, baskets, or decorative objects. Its versatile proportions make it equally well suited as a server, side cabinet, entry piece, oversized nightstand, or accent table.
The walnut displays beautiful grain and depth throughout, and the original Berkey & Gay maker’s medallion remains intact.
