Crafted by the renowned S. Bent & Bros. of Gardner, Massachusetts, this beautifully preserved solid maple Windsor side chair represents one of America’s most respected furniture makers. Founded in 1867, S. Bent & Bros. became known for producing heirloom-quality Windsor seating using traditional New England craftsmanship.
This chair features the classic Windsor silhouette with a gently shaped crest rail, graceful tapered spindles, sculpted saddle seat, and turned legs joined by a traditional H-stretcher for lasting strength. The warm honey maple finish highlights the natural figure of the wood while complementing both traditional and modern interiors.
Its understated design makes it equally at home as a dining chair, desk chair, hallway accent, or bedroom side chair. Built from solid maple, it remains sturdy, comfortable, and highly functional while offering the timeless character associated with classic American furniture.
A wonderful example of quality American craftsmanship that has become increasingly difficult to find in this exceptional condition.
