An elegant French brass candelabra executed in the sinuous botanical language of the Art Nouveau period. The sculptural composition features five candle arms branching organically from a central stem, each surrounded by finely modeled lily leaves and petal-form candle cups.
The naturalistic arrangement reflects the Art Nouveau fascination with flowing plant forms and asymmetrical movement inspired by nature. Constructed from cast and hand-formed brass elements with brazed joins, the piece retains a warm aged patina with subtle verdigris consistent with early twentieth-century brasswork.
The underside bears a “Made in France” stamp, indicating export production for the international decorative arts market during the late Art Nouveau to interwar period. Both functional and sculptural, the candelabra serves as a striking centerpiece for dining tables, mantels, or console displays.
