An exquisite vintage French Jacquard-woven tapestry runner adapted from the famous 15th-century "The Lady and the Unicorn" (La Dame à la licorne) masterpiece series housed at the Musée de Cluny in Paris. Produced by the "Renaissance by Woven Art New York" collection and distributed by CSI Creations de France, this piece features repeating vertical vignettes of a heraldic lion and white unicorn guarding standard banners against a deep crimson and forest green mille-fleurs ground.
