Features striking, … Read more An exceptional, authentic pair of Mid-Century Modern floating cabinet nightstands attributed to William Doezema for Mastercraft, circa 1960s. Features striking, highly figured Carpathian elm burl wood bodies suspended within structural brass skeletal frames with oversized solid brass drop-pulls. Excellent vintage structural condition with no veneer chips or heavy metal tarnishing. The brass retains a beautiful aged patina. Tops show some localized sun-fading/uneven color consistent with age, but the clear coat remains intact. No maker's mark present, but the design is completely documented and authenticated by style." The Carpathian elm burl wood veneer is completely intact with no chips, deep gouges, or lifting. The original solid brass heavy drop-pull handles function perfectly. The top surface of one nightstand exhibits minor sun-fading and uneven color variations consistent with age and light historical use, which does not detract from the integrity of the piece. less
