SUPERB QUALITY, best of the best gold, silver and silk thread on red fabric! Featured is Russian Coat of Arms, a rendering of the crowned double head eagle, clutching a Royal Scepter in one, and Sovereign's Orb in the other leg with talons. Center of the eagle's chest bears a shield with an interesting depiction of Saint Michael slaying the dragon. This work of art is not signed. Tapestry is contained in a wood frame. Back of the painting is amazingly covered with silk Christian Dior fabric. Overall size in the frame is 27" in height and it is 25" wide. Condition is good with minimal age / use wear on the frame only (please see photos). This work of art will display great in any traditional or mid-century modern setting. See less
