This vibrant antique storage box is handmade from solid elm wood retrieved from Shanxi Province. Measuring 28 inches wide and sitting low at 14 inches high, the front features a hand-painted center medallion depicting a peacock among blossoms, flanked by two traditional flower vases against a rich red background. Complete with its original iron metal clasp, this unique, low-profile piece is perfectly sized to sit atop a console, a larger cabinet, or serve as a distinctive low accent chest on the floor.
