The 2nd Prussian Foot Guards (2. Garde-Regiment zu Fuß) were an elite infantry unit of the Prussian Army, raised in June 1813 from the Normal Infantry Battalion and core elements of other regiments. Garrisoned in Berlin, the unit saw action in major historic conflicts including the Napoleonic, Austro-Prussian, and First World Wars before being permanently disbanded. Dynamically posed in full uniform while carrying a striking regimental flag, this hand-painted figure showcases exceptional craftsmanship, from the bold black and red uniform to the detailed Pickelhaube helmet and metallic gold accents.
As shown in the original box label, this piece comes from the respected "Quality Model Soldiers" line (Box No. 2B).
