A superb and rare matched pair of figural elephant table lamps by Maitland-Smith, sequentially numbered 092 and 093 on their bases — confirming these were made and sold together. Each lamp is cast in brass/bronze with exceptional sculptural detail, finished in a warm patinated tone consistent with Maitland-Smith's signature Anglo-Indian aesthetic. Both retain their original shades and gold plaques reading "Handmade in Thailand by Maitland-Smith Limited."

Standing 26 inches tall with shade and weighing over 27 lbs each, these are substantial, impressive pieces — the kind that anchor a room. The base measures 11" × 7" with an overall width of 19".
