Antique Louis Philippe floor mirror made of gold-painted pine, featuring a charming floral cartouche at the top and a numbered back; late 19th century, France.
This fantastic and imposing floor mirror is highly decorative and elegant—a stylish addition to your hallway, living room, or bedroom!
It retains its original mirror plate, which shows signs of age-related weathering and spotting—a highly desirable characteristic.
The piece is in good antique condition, showing signs of age and use consistent with its history. There are some imperfections, such as minor damage (chips and small missing elements) to the top cartouche, some wear to the gold finish along the edges, and age-related hairline cracks in the wood; however, the structure remains very solid and sturdy. The mirror was repainted gold at some point in the past—please see the photos for details!
