This is a stunning antique Arts & Crafts Mission library chair or armchair crafted from quarter-sawn oak, dating to the early 20th century.
Featuring broad plank arms with exposed pegged joinery, a shaped crest rail, and a richly figured slatted back with beautiful tiger oak grain throughout. This sturdy library or desk chair retains its warm original finish and displays the clean lines and honest craftsmanship associated with the American Mission movement.
