The figure is cast in solid bronze via the traditional lost-wax casting technique and features a rich, mottled verdigris and deep brown patina. The greenish-oxidation has settled predominantly in the recessed areas, highlighting the textured, hand-modeled quality of the original clay work.

The statue depicts a full-body neoclassical standing female nude. Her right arm is raised behind her head, securing a tall, slender amphora or water vessel balancing on her shoulder. Her left arm loops over her head from the other side, resting lightly against the vessel. Her weight rests primarily on her right leg with the left leg slightly advanced, creating a subtle, elegant contrapposto curve. The statue rests upon a beautiful multi-toned gray granite base.
