Triangular stoneware decorative dish with hand-painted botanical motif in blue, green and yellow tones on a light brown ground. Model 1029/176. Origin: Sweden, Upsala Ekeby. Designer: Mari Simmulson. Material: Stoneware. Dimensions: H. 15 cm, D. 15 cm, depth 4 cm. Period: 1960s. Condition: Excellent condition with minimal signs of wear. Mari Simmulson (1911–2000) was one of Upsala Ekeby’s leading designers during the 1950s–70s, known for her graphic decorations, hand-painted motifs and strong Scandinavian colour sensibility.
