The table is raised on tapered legs topped by simple carved floral medallions, giving the piece a refined and classic Swedish look. One long central drawer is accented with horizontal carved fluted detail and opens using the key as a pull, as the old lock and key no longer function. The newer layered antique white painted finish is lightly distressed throughout, creating a softly rubbed look across the top and adding dimension and character.
Floor to skirt height is 23 3/4 inches, making it especially useful as a small desk or writing table as well as a side table.
Restored, strong, stable, and ready to use. Nicks along the legs, minor cracks, and scratches are reflective of generations of use and do not impact function.
