A stunning and rare vintage Murano glass vase, attributed to the renowned designer Dino Martens, dating from the 1970s. This work of art stands out for its elegant vertical striped design and a sophisticated technique that plays with transparency and color.
Color and Craftsmanship Details:
The vase features an alternating pattern of white and deep black stripes. A notable feature: the black used is characteristic of Murano’s finest craftsmanship; it appears as a rich, glossy black but reveals fascinating burgundy/wine-red reflections when light passes through it or when viewed against the light. This detail confirms the use of precious metal oxides in the glass-blowing process.
