Wonderful Art Deco "Ikora" crackled art glass bowl designed by Karl Wiedmann for WMF, Germany, 1920s/30s. The bowl is made of very thick transparent crystal glass with interlayer decoration by oxide and powder fusion (in brown, green, claret). This technique ("Ikora") was developed by Karl Wiedmann. The bowl is highly decorative. Quite heavy (3.1 kg). Diameter: 36 cm/14.2''; Height: 7.5 cm/3''. Excellent vintage condition. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
