Offered is a set of 3 ceramic vases in a sunny lemon yellow designed by Aldo Londi for Bitossi in the 1960s and distributed through Rosenthal Netter in the United States. The largest vase is the double handle urn shape, a modern take on the ancient Roman classic, with thinner angular handles. The 2 smaller ones look very alike but have character differences, they are slightly different sizes and one has a more mottled finish. These were purchased at an estate sale and are in very good condition for their age. We hope they find a new home that needs a pop of mid 20th century sunshine and has a passion for Italian pottery. All images taken in natural daylight and true to color. The original label is torn in half but remains attached to the base of largest vase.
The double handle urn measures 6.75" handle to handle, 5.5" diameter, 8.25" tall, 3.75" base diameter, 4" mouth diameter, 2" neck opening
The smallest vase measures 5.625" tall, 4.75" diameter, 3.75" base diameter, 3" mouth diameter, 1" neck opening
The medium vase measures 6" tall, 4.75" diameter, 3.75" base diameter, 3.25" mouth diameter,
1.5" neck opening
