The base is an oxygen … Read more This fantastic floor lamp is made entirely of salvaged vintage parts - it is ONE-OF-A-KIND! The base is an oxygen air tank from WWII and has a great green paint remnant and the original label from Allied Chemical & Dye. The pull chain has what looks like a bath faucet knob at the end and matches the patina finish of the rod. The top of the lamp is a chrome "dish" that is a round saucer shape. It has some paint drippings and a small dent. It is reflective and yet worn at the same time. The lamp looks sculptural and interesting from every angle. It takes a standard bulb and works beautifully. Unfortunately the shade cannot be taken off so this lamp is difficult to box up. Awesome find! See less
