It features a sturdy stoneware body shaped into a classic bulbous baluster form, resting on a tiered or stepped foot. The exterior is coated in a characteristic thick, dark iron-brown glaze that gives it a metallic, rich chocolate appearance.
The shoulder and upper neck are embellished with concentric incised lines and unique stamped or incised geometric patterns, typical of ancient Khmer pottery production
The rim tapers into a thick neck before opening out into a prominent, wide flanged or everted trumpet rim
