Raised relief on peony flowers. Signed and sealed by the artist in the Japanese and English languages. Watercolor, oil paint and ink on silk over gold paper. Silk border. Painted brown wood frame with engraved copper corners, plaques and medallions, showing some age patina. Paper on back. The United States, circa 1960s. Nearly Excellent condition - no damage to the painting nor back, minimal age wear overall, strong joints, clean, sturdy.
