This exceptional, oversized ceramic charger platter is a vibrant celebration of traditional Moroccan artistry, hand-thrown and individually painted in the historic coastal pottery port of Safi, Morocco. Signed on the reverse by the artisan, M. Reda Dbila, this monumental 16.5-inch piece showcases a captivating blue-on-blue color palette that effortlessly channels a high-end Mediterranean or coastal luxury aesthetic.
The front of the platter features an all-over, impressionistic floral motif. Expressive, deep cobalt blue blossoms and delicate trailing vines dance across a serene, luminous periwinkle-blue glazed ground. The painterly, watercolor-like execution gives the piece a wonderful sense of movement and organic elegance.

As an authentic, hand-thrown and hand-painted piece of studio pottery, it exhibits charming artisanal characteristics inherent to its creation. These include minor glaze pinholes, faint firing variations, and slight organic unevenness to the glaze application and rim shape. These variations are hallmarks of true hand-craftsmanship from Safi and add to the unique, one-of-a-kind character of the piece.
