This pair of 1960s Tobago nightstands brings sculptural Canadian mid century modern design to the bedside, built in walnut with a compact, architectural form. Each cabinet rests on a dramatic splayed base of sculpted, pointed legs joined by a curved stretcher, the same expressive base that defines the larger pieces in the line. Softly shaped drawer fronts and recessed wooden pulls keep the faces clean while adding a quiet sculptural detail.
Each nightstand offers two drawers for bedside storage, a flat top sized for a lamp, a clock, or a stack of books. As a matched pair they frame a bed symmetrically, and the raised sculptural bases keep the look light and open rather than boxy. Warm walnut grain runs across the drawer fronts and case sides of both pieces, so they read as a true set. Unmarked.
