Sometimes called a "butler's mirror" that allowed the staff to monitor the progression of the dinner service at a comfortable distance, the convex mirror glass offers a clear reflection of any room, barely touched with dark foxing. The thick giltwood frame is all hand-carved with concentric rings enclosing a line of spherical knobs glistening like marquee lights under the gold. We believe this item to be in good antique condition considering its age, and any visible signs of wear are captured in the photos.
