Excellent vintage condition. No chips, damage. It features a whimsical black and white cat lounging in a white porcelain sink with a small mouse on a stack of towels nearby. It can be a stand-alone figurine or a book stand.

They are considered moderately rare and are no longer in production, making them relatively hard to find in standard retail stores. The "In The Sink" figurine (Model A1294) was discontinued years ago. It's by Linda Jane Smith, Border Fine Studios. Very whimsical and adorable!

This figurine is made of hand-painted resin. Specifically, Border Fine Arts used a heavy, durable cold-cast resin compound. This material allows for much higher precision and intricate detail than traditional kiln-fired ceramic or porcelain. It captures fine textures perfectly—such as the individual strands of the cat’s fur, the fabric folds on the stacked towels, and the tiny details on the toothbrush and soap bar.
