The … moreThis exquisite Model 7001 armchair by Paul McCobb has recently undergone a comprehensive restoration process featuring new leather upholstery. The solid walnut frame has been hand-sanded and refinished showing only one dowelled crack repair (shown in the detail photos provided) and a few small remaining scratches. The upholstery has been redone in a fabulous tobacco-colored genuine leather hide that shows only the wear associated from a once living animal (ranch brands, scars et.) The original cane shows a few minor repairs (shown in the detail photos provided) but showing no breaks and the backrest is weight-bearing and ready for everyday use. This ultra-rare model 7001 side chair is comfortable, structurally sound and ready for a literal lifetime more of use.
