The substantial oval glass top allows the sculptural base to remain fully visible, highlighting the elegant crossed stretcher design and faux wrapped iron "bindings." This is not marked, but is a decorators piece and very high quality.

The table displays influences of both Hollywood Regency and Mediterranean Revival design, with gracefully curved lines and artisan-crafted details. The aged gilt finish has a faux under-paint to add to the patina and lends a rich patina that complements the hand-worked appearance of the iron frame.

Well-proportioned and highly versatile, this table works equally well in traditional, Regency, Spanish Revival, Italian, or romantic traditional interiors. This is in great vintage condition!
