Beautifully handcrafted from native European wood, the main posts and dividers are lathe-turned to mimic natural bamboo stalks. The corner pillars feature traditional tiered finials.
The stand houses its highly sought-after original heavy zinc drip pan, complete with integrated flush-mount metal ring handles for easy removal.
It features a functional 6-section layout ideal for organizing walking sticks, canes, and umbrellas.

Condition Notes: This item shows beautiful, authentic signs of a long domestic life. The turned wood spindles show natural rub-wear and an elegant aged finish from decades of sliding umbrellas in and out. Small historic chips and repaired crack on finial ends confirm its authenticity.
The original zinc liner has developed a beautiful matte gray oxidized patina. One corner seam of the metal tray has naturally split from its original lead solder. Structurally, the base has been reinforced underneath with support wood slats added over 39 years ago to secure and bear the weight of umbrellas in the zinc tray. It does lean slightly to the left. Structurally sound and full of character.
