Gustavsberg studio pottery Vase in test glaze, mid-20th century. Cylindrical studio vase in thrown stoneware with an experimental pink-purple test glaze and light rim detail, signed with monogram to the base.
Origin: Sweden, Gustavsberg. Material: Stoneware. Dimensions: H. 11 cm, D. 7 cm. Period: Mid-20th century. Condition: Very good condition with light signs of use.
Gustavsberg’s studio workshop was renowned for experimental test glazes exploring colour and surface prior to potential production. These test pieces were often signed with individual monograms and are today sought after as unique collector’s items.
