We believe this is early work by ceramicist "La" Laurrien Gilman, a Pacific Northwest artist and entrepreneur, who also founded Gravity Bar in Seattle, in the early 90s.
This figural art references timeless concepts such as the moon and stars, with a figure standing in a doorway, and what looks to be a marble column, such as one might find in an ancient temple. Sure to be a conversation starter!
