Sleek, powerful, and deeply saturated in color, this 8-inch glass stalking panther captures the height of Hollywood Regency and Art Deco style. This piece was produced in 1986 using the original 1940s molds designed by master glass sculptor Royal Hickman for the A.H. Heisey Glass Company.
Molded in glowing Amberina glass, the figure boasts a deep ruby red core that transitions into orange tones along the ears, flanks, and elongated tail. The tail is cleanly etched with the maker's commemorative mark "HCA 86" for the Heisey Collectors of America.
A substantial, heavy piece that functions beautifully as an sculptural accent, bookend, or desk centerpiece.
