This finish is not a catalog color and does not appear in any known Sebel production records. Its swirling internal pattern and high‑gloss surface were created during a factory resin transition, making this a true one‑off anomaly within Australian industrial design.
The chair reads as both functional seating and a sculptural design object, catching and bending light across its curved surfaces. Authentic Sebel markings — including Aust. Reg. Design No. 62284 and Aust. Patent No. 472411 — appear on the underside, confirming its provenance.
