Rare floor lamp by Cedric Hartman, produced in Switzerland for Jack Lenor Larsen.
The design impresses with its materiality and the principle of cantilever and counterweight. The lamp has two poles connected by an angled arm. The lamp head sits at the top, opposite an elegant counterweight in the form of a solid block. The brass lamp head can be rotated to a certain degree, and the upper part of the arm can be swiveled, allowing the direction of the light to be controlled. The reflector is mirrored on the inside. The lamp is marked with the manufacturer's name below the weight. The switch is located on the lamp head. Delicately crafted feet elevate the lamp from the floor with a groove.
The lamp is in very good condition. It has been polished by an artisan.
