A generous, fully upholstered form with a high sculpted back, softly curved wings and rounded arms that taper naturally into the seat — the silhouette is full and enveloping without feeling heavy. The velvet has a deep, rich pile with good colour depth throughout, shifting between olive and forest green depending on the light. Twisted gold cord trim outlines the seat cushion, the side panels and the back — a period-correct finishing detail that adds refinement to the profile. Gold fringe trim runs continuously along the base. Four covered button detail to the lower back. The chair sits on a hidden base concealed entirely by the deep fringe, giving it a grounded, sculptural presence. Original upholstery throughout. See less
