This listing is for a lovely Sterling Silver 5 3/8" teaspoon or coffee spoon made by R. Wallace & Son in the ROSE pattern issued in n features a garland of roses on the handle end. Stamped on the back '(Wallace deerhead trademark) PAT. 1898 RW&S STERLING'.
The Wallace "Rose" pattern is an antique sterling silver flatware line patented in 1898. Designed by Henry L. Wallace, it features ornate, Art Nouveau-style floral detailing, and is distinct from the later, more common "Rose Point" pattern introduced in 1934.
This spoon is in very good Estate condition with no noted flaws and reflecting only minor signs of normal wear. Box 76
