A true matched pair of vintage gold-tone wall candle sconces made by the Burwood Products Company of Traverse City, Michigan — confirmed by the maker's mark on the reverse, dated 1962 (MCMLXII), model #4055-2.
Crafted from Burwood's signature wood-composite material, hand-finished to replicate the look and feel of fine carved wood, then gilded in a rich antique gold. Each sconce features an elaborate scroll, acanthus leaf, and floral medallion design, with a single candle cup at center and finished with rope-and-tassel detail at the base. Identical in design, size, and finish — a genuine pair, not separately sourced pieces.
Each sconce measures approximately 13.5 inches tall. Mounting hardware on the reverse for wall hanging. Made in the USA.
