A pair of finely solid mahogany William IV English hall chairs with a prominent raised cartouche-shaped back slat, carved C-scrolls, shaped seat, splayed back legs, and turned front legs with turned, top-shaped toupie feet. These hand-carved 19th century hall chairs, which have hand-holds hewn into the rear side of the back spats, were made using traditional peg construction and retains a lovely patina.
