Circa 1920 cherry faux bamboo mirror from France.
The frame is hand turned out of cherry to appear as if it is made from bamboo. The frame surrounds what appears to be an original mirror, with losses to the silvering appropriate for age and use.
The faux bamboo style is a great decorative style, as it goes with any type of decor and warms up any room in which it is placed.
