This refined orthodox icon depicts jesus pantocrator and comes complete with its original booklet on the back.

subject and style: christ is depicted according to byzantine canons: he blesses with his right hand and holds the open gospel in his left. The composition is enclosed in a richly embossed frame with floral motifs.

material and finish: the image is mounted on a solid wooden base and covered with a 925 silver plate riza, embossed and chiseled. The halo and sacred inscriptions are embellished with splendid 24k gold-plated inlays.
