Rare Arts & Crafts English pewter biscuit box produced by Liberty & Co., London, from the celebrated Tudric line, circa 1902. This rectangular form features a domed lid, geometric hand-chased decoration, and striking blue-green enamel cabochon medallions and one orange copper medallion, inserted around the body, showing the strong design influence associated with the period. The clean architectural lines and stylized surface decoration are characteristic of the Tudric series, and the design is often attributed to the style of Archibald Knox, one of Liberty’s most important Arts & Crafts designers.
