This antique Arts & Crafts floor lamp, circa 1910–1925, features a distinctive rack-and-slide mechanism that allows the height to be adjusted along a notched wooden standard. Both functional and sculptural, the mechanism gives the piece a strong architectural presence while reflecting the ingenuity and craftsmanship of the period. An opal glass globe diffuses the light with a soft, even glow, complemented by the warm wood finish. The result is a refined early 20th-century design that brings character and warmth to a library, study, reading corner, or curated interior.
