Expertly turned from solid wood, the circular box features a beautifully domed lid and rests on three small turned feet.The exterior is entirely hand-painted with intricate, flowing floral and tendril motifs, a hallmark of Hungarian folk-influenced Art Nouveau design. The color palette beautifully balances deep blues, rich blacks, and warm yellowish-brown tones, giving the piece a remarkably authentic, period-correct character.The underside of the box bears the artist's initials or maker's mark "MG".
