1970's large and in charge butterfly pendant added to a contemporary chain both in a silver metal. The pendant is articulated for movement and is textured with a combination of pebbled surface and polished polka dots and body. The chain is a weighty herringbone style with a hook closure. The back of the pendant bears a stamped jewelry maker's hallmark though the designer is unknown. It is a wonderful statement piece with both a modernist and a bohemian vibe.
Good vintage condition. The pendant shows a slight loss of silver finish at the tip of one butterfly wing as shown in photograph 12.
The pendant measures 3.63" wide x 4.25" tall. The necklace measures 20.75" from end to end and approximately .13" wide.
