Fabulous vintage Chinoiserie to Art Deco to Art Nouveau pendant lights with frosted glass globes bearing hand painted avian and botanical motif details, metal chains, yellow tassels on each end of terracotta painted metal arms, shafts, fitters, original painted canopies, hardwired, a pair. Beautiful condition, keeping in mind that this is vintage and not new so will have signs of use and wear even if it has been refinished or restored. Specifically, they retain their original vintage finish with some paint chipping to metal but no chips, cracks, or chiggers to glass. This is a pair of fantastic vintage hardwired pendant lights composed of frosted glass globes bearing lovely, intricately hand painted avian (fancy word for birds or pheasants…LOL!!) and botanical motif details, and a hand painted terracotta colored band with floral details surrounding the base of the globe! They suspend from the ceiling by metal chains attached to their original hand painted canopies and are held by a terracotta painted fitter which bears a terracotta painted shaft hosting two extended metal arms that dangle charming canary yellow tassels from little metal hooks. They have a Chinoiserie to Art Deco to Art Nouveau style with a Victorian and Traditional flair meaning these beauties will assimilate with MANY styles of décor. Sometimes all you need is “just the right light,” and this pair of pendant lights would be beautiful above your dining table in the dining area, in a bedroom, in your study, or in the living room radiating their luminating glow and exuding a perfect ambience.
