A lovely pair of vintage dinner plates by Royal Cauldon, England, stamped on the reverse with the maker's mark "Royal Cauldon England Est. 1774." Each plate features a richly embossed scrollwork and floral border in cream/ivory glaze, with a colorful polychrome floral bouquet transfer at the center depicting roses, daisies, and wildflowers in pink, orange, yellow, and blue. A charming example of early-to-mid 20th century English ceramic craftsmanship. Perfect for display, decorative tablescape styling, or collecting. Sold as a set of 2.
