We're selling this very fine Japanese satsuma vase attributed to Kinkozan. This high quality vase has dark cobalt blue background with two scenes with abstract shaped borders. On one side a group of Samurai warriors are seated preparing for battle, on the reverse the women are gathered with musicians. The ground is decorated with fine floral sprays in both gold and silver. The base has an impressed seal mark that is nearly impossible to read but is probably for "Kinkozan Sei".
