He's chalkware … Read more I got this little guy thinking he looks christmassy, but he's pretty much all season on closer inspection. He's chalkware - a type of ceramic used in the 50s and 60s, not made of actual chalk. The flowers on the top were broken and put back on at some point- by someone who did it so well it fooled me. If you look very closely at the back you can see where they put it back, but very difficult to find it. There's also a scratch on the base, shown in pictures. I still love him, and feel he deserves a good home. Hopefully someone out there agrees with me. See less
