This gorgeous Large Lidded Jar is made out of ceramic. This vibrant jar presents a tapered and rounded silhouette, and was made by artist Tony Evans in his signature raku art pottery style featuring a stunning turquoise and black glossy drip overglaze transitioning from white into a charcoal grey colored matte texture on the bottom of the piece. The bottom of the piece is signed "T Evans" by the artist, see pictures. This incredible work of art pottery would be a perfect addition to any art pottery collection or display for vintage ceramics. The brass decorative knob at the top of the lid can be changed if so desired since it can be unscrewed. This gorgeous piece also comes with a fitted wood base for elegant and easy displaying, the bottom of the stand is marked 448/450 | 6 1/2", see pictures.
