These decorative scarabs are carved from olive-green to gray-green soap stone, with hand-etched Egyptian-inspired motifs.

Each scarab displays individual carving variations, giving the set a handcrafted, companion-piece appearance suitable for Egyptian décor collections, global interiors, cabinets of curiosities, bookshelves, desks, or paperweight display.

The undersides are decorated with carved hieroglyphic-style symbols and openwork carvings. Sold together as a decorative vintage pair.

Authentic Egyptian acquisition — not represented as an ancient antiquity. This is from my personal collection and my travels, acquired in the 1980’s in Egypt.
